Cyclobus a Turbus 2022

From May 14 to October 30, 2022, you can take the Turbus tourist bus line from Banská Bystrica to Kráľova studňa in front of Horský hotel Kráľova studňa every weekend and on holidays.

This year too, you can use the cycle bus from Banská Bystrica to Sedlo Malý Šturec. The cycle bus to Sedlo Malý Šturec runs from May 14 to September 25 every Sunday and public holidays.

New panoramic maps ​

From the end of 2016, tourists on Krížná can use new view maps. There are six painted maps with panoramic views and the names of the surrounding hills installed in the terrain, one was also added in the hotel on Kráľová studňa.

The revitalized Bystrica spring

In 2017, it was possible to create a wooden bench from local natural materials that serves as a memorial. The spring was revitalized with the help of the Rotary Club of Banská Bystrica in cooperation with the Slovak Water Management Company, the state enterprise Business Association of Banská Bystrica and the city of Banská Bystrica.

We launched a charging station at Kráľová Studňa

In 2016, we launched the first e-bike charging station in Slovakia at the hotel in cooperation with Ride.sk and the Central Slovak Regional Tourism Organization. The goal of the project is to increase interest in cycling in the vicinity of Veľká Fatra.

Symbolic cemetery for the victims of the mountains in Veľká Fatra

The memorial site to the victims of the mountains in Veľká Fatra was inaugurated on August 20, 2011 as a memorial to the victims of the mountains and a warning to visitors not to underestimate the dangers and pitfalls of the mountain environment.
