TURBUS and CYKLOBUS operation for the year 2023 has ended.

Turbus

From May 1, 2025 to October 26, 2025, you can take the TURBUS tourist bus line from Banská Bystrica to Kráľova studňa in front of the Horský hotel Kráľova studňa every Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

The bus is intended for hikers. Bicycle transportation is not possible. You can use the CYKLOBUS to transport bicycles.

Price: €5 one-way, €7 two-way, with a return ticket also valid for the next day if it is a Sunday or a public holiday.

If you want to have a guaranteed seat, we recommend that you buy tickets online with a seat worth €6 one-way and €8 round-trip. In case the seats are sold out, you still have the opportunity to buy tickets from the driver. However, the number of tickets from the driver is limited to 20 for all stops.

We recommend booking tickets in advance!

Back from the Hotel Kráľova studňa bus leaves at 15:50.

ATTENTION PARKING CHANGE! – we ask Turbus clients to use the parking areas (next to the Harmanecké papierné) bus stop OCÚ Harmanec, see map. Since the parking lot at the Čierna ovca restaurant is intended for restaurant clients and visitors to the Harmanecká cave, we recommend using the parking lot at the paper mills.

Cyklobus

This year, you can use the CYKLOBUS from Banská Bystrica to Sedlo Malý Šturec. The CYKLOBUS to Sedlo Malý Šturec runs every other Saturday from May 24 to September 28, 2025.

The CYKLOBUS leaves at 7:55 a.m. from Strieborné námestie, and can transport max. 45 bicycles, including 7 electric bicycles. The CYKLOBUS leaves Sedlo Malý Šturec back to Banská Bystrica at 8:40 a.m.

The price of the ticket is €3, including the transport of the bicycle.

The CYKLOBUS does not run in case of adverse weather conditions. Current information can be found at Central Slovakia.

For those who ride e-bikes, you can use the charging station at the hotel completely free of charge.
